The Lock Keeper sits in a gorgeous riverside spot with a massive beer garden taking full advantage of the location. Serving lunch and dinners, it's a great place for pub grub in a semi-rural location that feels far removed from busy Bristol. You can enjoy afternoon tea or coffee by the river Avon, while in the evening the menu features pub classics such as steak and ale pie, chilli, and Ploughman's Lunch - and all their fish dishes use fresh rather than frozen fish.

A lovely country style pub which is only 10 minutes or so drive down the Bath Road. Sat on the bank of a the Avon (which unfortunately means it's very susceptible to flooding), the Lock Keeper is probably the only good reason I can think of for going to Keynsham (apart from the pub next door, the name of which escapes me).

nice pub, modern feel, it is expensive but generally that means paying twenty pence over for drinks than what most pubs charge which isnt a problem, it has a good atmosphere and large garden area, downside can get the occasional whiff of sewage from the local plant when sat out in the lower garden
