The Law Centres Federation (LCF) is the national membership organisation for the development and support of Law Centres. LCF encourages the development of publicly funded legal services for those most disadvantaged in society. and promotes good Law Centre practice in the delivery of high quality legal services to the community. LCF itself does not give advice; this is done locally through our Community Law Centres across the UK. LCF provides a free sign-posting service for the public to help them find the most suitable place(s) to receive legal advice and representation, mainly on social welfare law.
