The decor is modern and tasteful, with a large outdoor seating area thats perfect for soaking up some summer rays. Quirky touches like the metal pails containing cutlery and sauces and the large jazz-inspired wall murals lend an element of fun. They stock an impressive array of Continental and domestic beers, wines and spirits and decadent fresh cocktails (two-for-one at selected times), so youre sure to find something that takes your fancy. The food is fresh and tasty gastropub fare, responsibly sourced from local suppliers. The Sunday lunch is excellent value for money, as is the tapas menu, which offers three dishes for just 9. Most items on the menu can be tailored to your personal tastes the burgers, for example, can be fixed anyway you like with many different toppings to choose from and the chef is happy to come out and chat at quieter times. The desserts are amazing, the sticky toffee pudding is particularly worthy of note, and youll find a good selection of Fairtrade coffees to round off your meal.
