After the first viewing, we put down our 'administration fees', which was £150. When looking again we talked to the current residents, who warned us about the company. We then called the company to discuss allegations and the manager was unhelpful and extremely rude, actually shouting down the phone. We took our contract to a lawyer to check over, half of the clauses had been flagged up, some breaching the law. When we confronted envisage, we were toldthat the contract would not be changed instead he simply gave us his word it would be ok. The man we spoke to attempted to discredit the professional, as well as the law itself. All members of staff were rude and condescending, assuming that they could take advantage of students. We have decided not to go forward with the contract, losing £150 of administration fees each. We would strongly advise students, and the public at large, to avoid using this company.
